Daligas is an independent energy provider that only entered into the energy market in April 2013. The company is currently based in London and have identified that they have developed a business model based low operating costs, direct contact with consumers and a lower gas fixed price .
Daligas only offers gas services to its customers but have set out changing the payment system for their products in an attractive and innovative manner.
Typically, energy providers charge you each month for the amount you have used, but Daligas have modified this so that customers make twelve, even monthly payments across the year. The estimated annual cost of a customer’s bill is determined by using their Budget Billing Plan and is subsequently divided by twelve in order to calculate the total amount due each month.
In this way you benefit from knowing exactly when your payments are due, and how much you will need to save to pay your bill each month. Thus far, Daligas have only released one tariff which grants customers flexibility as there are no cancellation fees attached to it.
Daligas’s fuel mix is yet to be conclusively established with the energy watchdog Ofgem.
